LIVE EVENTS

One of my favorite things as an illustrator is the opportunity to live sketch onsite at events.

Examples of live illustration includes private parties, brand events, boutique openings, hotel events, weddings, bridal showers, birthdays, Bat-Mitzvahs, and more.

If you have an idea, let's make it happen and create your own custom package!

Live-illustration at events is a great way to personalize & boost guest experience, share specific brand messaging as I act as a brand ambassador in conversations, & amplify social media impressions. Guests always have fun showing each other their sketches and striking up conversations!

Pricing will vary based on number of hours on-site, add on packages & travel fees. I can also customize & brand the live art to suit the event for a flat rate.

I am based in NYC, but I do accept bookings for live-sketching events across the country & world. There is an additional travel fee for any event outside of New York City to be paid at time of booking deposit.

Email me at rebeccaschneidercreative@gmail.com with any inquiries & we can figure out a package that is perfect for you.

PARK CITY, UTAH
MOUNTAIN WEDDING
LIVE GUEST ILLUSTRATION

I illustrated guests of Dana Hasson's "Should Look Like This Baking Kit" launch party in SoHo, NYC.

Prior to the event, I created a branded background that would be used for all guest illustrations at the event.

On a beautiful Saturday, customers at Little Words Project's Bleecker St. Location were surprised and delighted by free bestie portraits. Prior to the event, I created a branded background inspired by the iconic Bleecker St. storefront garland. I set up a digital printer and completed 10-15 minute portraits of besties of all ages, some even including the cutest pups. Guests received printed custom artwork on the spot, as well as the digital art via AirDrop.

I flew out to the beautiful Park City, Utah and spent four hours illustrating the fashionable guests during the cocktail hour and reception. Thank you to Christin & James for having me, and congratulations on your beautiful wedding!

Q&A

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Photos are taken of guests as they arrive. While your guests enjoy the event, I will illustrate them. Illustrations can be picked up as they are finished or at the end of the event. Guests are always welcome to watch the live illustration process. People love to come visit the table throughout the event and flip through finished pieces. I always love to chat and make new friends!

WILL YOU DRAW THE BRIDE & GROOM?

Included in your package is a custom bride and groom drawing that will be delivered after the wedding in a much more refined, detailed style. This allows for the couple to interact and be super present on their wedding day with their guests!

WHAT IF WE NEED TO ADD TIME DAY OF?

One hour can be added day of if Rebecca is available. Restrictions apply to events that go late into the evening.

WHAT KIND OF PAPER

DO YOU USE?

I use heavyweight art paper so that pieces are worthy of your guests' walls.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Pricing will vary based on number of hours on-site, add on packages & travel fees.

I'd love to give you a custom package quote.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE

THE BACKGROUND

OR THE ART?

YES! This always makes the moment feel complete. Customizations are available for an add on fee.

I can do a custom background of the venue, brand moment, etc. Otherwise I will use blank art paper.

For fashion collection launches, consider having guests drawn wearing an item from your new line that they choose!

HOW DO I PAY?

Once you are ready to proceed, I will send over a contract to sign and invoice to pay. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit that will be due after the contract is signed. The rest would be due a month prior to your event.

I accept multiple forms of payment and we can discuss the payment method that is best!

ARE YOU ABLE TO ILLUSTRATE EVERYONE

AT THE EVENT?

Depending on the guest list size and amount of hours booked, I do my best to get to as many people as possible.

Each figure takes roughly 7-10 minutes.

To accommodate as many as possible, I try to limit to one or two people per drawing, will only draw guests in attendance, and limit one illustration per person.

WHAT SETUP

DO YOU NEED?

Illustration station requires a small table, chair and ample lighting (nearby outlet) - all which are set up & provided by the client. Please no circular tables if possible!

I also encourage you to decorate the table according to your decor. Even simple flowers or floating candles will amp up the aesthetic! For an add on fee, I am able to bring some flowers.

WHAT IF I NEED

TO CANCEL?

Cancelation must be made 30 days before the event. You are able to cancel, but please note that upon booking, I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit that will be not be returned.

HOW MANY HOURS

DO I BOOK YOU FOR?

I require a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 6 hours.

For weddings, I will typically be drawing during the cocktail hour until the end of the reception.

WHERE DO YOU SIT?

A little crowd typically forms around me pretty organically, so you want my station to be located somewhere in the venue where guests can easily see me, but it won’t get in the way of caterers, bartenders, etc.

I’ll sit on one side and the guests stand on the other if they'd like to chat as I illustrate!

DOES THE PAINT

YOU USE NEED

TIME TO DRY?

I actually illustrate with markers so it will dry immediately and the guests can safely take the art with them.

I always package the art in clear packaging with a cardboard backing so that it is sturdy, spill-proof, and able to be shown-off and showcased in conversations throughout the event.
